Volunteer Driver Profile – Charles Wait (Chaleur Region) – March 2026

Hello, My name is Charles Wait.  I’m originally from Quebec.  I arrived in Bathurst in 1980 where I settled and started my family.

I’m a retired financial advisor having retired in 2014. I’m involved in several volunteer organizations including Operation Red Nose, the Knights of Columbus, the Chaleur Region Multicultural Association and many others. And since 2018, I’ve also been volunteering with the community transit system. I’m a hockey enthusiast and a big fan of the local team. As a wido wer, volunteering allows me to socialize, meet new people and exchange ideas with a wide variety of individuals.
