My husband Robert and I live in Hillsborough, NB. While attending an event in Riverside Albert, Urban Rural Rides had a booth set up promoting the program. As a result I was able to learn more about the program and I discussed the details of what was required to become a driver. Living 30 minutes from Moncton, with no public transportation available, I recognized the need for additional volunteer drivers. I thought that I might be able to try and ease some of the burden getting clients to and from their appointments. It has been a very fulfilling experience meeting and helping people. During my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing pickleball, walking, snowshoeing, biking, trying to stay as active as possible.
