My wife and I moved to Miramichi in 1973 for work and we never wanted to leave. After I retired I joined a senior’s woodworking group but felt I would also like to volunteer in some form to help our area. About 3 years ago I joined the forerunner of Urban Rural Rides in Miramichi as a volunteer driver. I really enjoy doing this and I meet many interesting people and they seem to appreciate and enjoy the service we provide.
