When Ian and Ruth spotted an advertisement for Urban Rural Rides (URR), they quickly considered becoming part of the organization. Ian retired from an active Dental Practice of 47 years in 2021. Ruth retired an educational career in 2015 then acquired a Bed and Breakfast serving clientele from around the world for 18 years.
Throughout their careers, both Ian and Ruth often served marginalized individuals. URR allows for the continuation of service to those in need, create new and lasting acquaintances and be part of volunteerism in their community.
URR is well organized, has an excellent support staff and supports individuals in need of transportation. With both Ian and Ruth’s involvement a client is seldom refused a drive. A truly enjoyable and rewarding experience.
