I started to volunteer as a driver August 1, 2000, one year before I retired. I wanted something to do during retirement as I had no real hobbies or interests. In the beginning there were only a few of us driving, and sometimes there were only two. For the couple of years that Covid was rampant I decided not to drive, but now I am back again since December.
I enjoy making people’s lives easier by getting them to where they need to go, but require a little help.
My wife and I have been together for 47 years. Our son is living in Kelowna, BC with his wife and our 2 grandsons.
We spend a lot of our time traveling in North America and Europe and of course visiting Kelowna.
